Invisalign aligners are custom-made clear plastic aligners manufactured at the Align Technologies dental laboratory using CAD-CAM processes that are designed to move your teeth in small increments from their original position to the most desired natural position. Each aligner must be worn in its specific order for about two weeks, during which time it moves the teeth in small increments.Although the aligners are removable (for eating, drinking certain beverages and brushing/flossing), they must be worn at least 20 hours a day in order to reposition the teeth successfully.
1) Initial Consultation + iTero scan, assessment & Instant Simulation
This appointment is focused to understand your concern with your teeth and bite.
Initial records (teeth and face pictures taken at different angles) are made to Visualize and thus analyze your teeth and jaws better. (use iTero Element Flex Images, if possible)
At Smile Matters we use state-of-the-art tech such as iTero Element Flex®.
It performs a precise scan of your teeth in just a few minutes!! The photos from the scan are used to create an identical simulation of your dental structure.

2) ClinCheck® Analysis and Customized Treatment Plan
Invisalign uses smart ClinCheck® Software to simulate the movement of your teeth from their current position to the Final Smile Makeover. It is a highlycustomized plan specific to you wherein various phases of treatments are charted out by the technician as per the treatment plan made by your orthodontist.
3) Invisalign Fitting appointment
Two to three weeks after your ClinCheck® analysis and treatment plan comes through, your Invisalign aligners are ready and delivered to you. Every Invisalign treatment requires multiple aligners for a complete smile makeover. At Smile Matters, we provide you with an option to get them all at once if frequent visits to our Centre will not be possible for you
4) Follow up
The number of appointments and reviews will largely depend on the degree of change required and the number of trays. An appointment every 3 months is recommended, if not, a review appointment every 6-8 months is mandatory given that you keep sending pictures wearing every 3 sets of aligners for our orthodontists to inspect their fitting.
